A gentleman’s home is his castle .... unless, of course, he doesn’t have one.

Today, we started our virtual challenge to ‘Take the Lead’ and support our friends at St Mungo’s. They are one of the leading homelessness charities to accept pets in their hostels.

A dog can often feel like the only trusted companion for someone sleeping on the streets. They provide solace and comfort during what can be an extremely difficult time. We recognise the powerful emotional support a dog can provide and are helping to raise the profile of our dog walking challenge this summer.

In a time of national emergency, St Mungo’s has played a leading part in coordinating the response to help those rough sleeping inside and self-isolating.

Thousands of people are now off the streets and self-isolating. Homeless charities now need our help to ensure we can capitalise on this ‘once in a generation’ opportunity to ensure no one has to go back to the streets.
