Doug the Pug Therapy Dog was invited to Westminster Under School last week, for Children’s Mental Health Week.
We were asked to present a morning assembly on well-being.
We said how it’s important to be kind to others and to be kind to ourselves.
Through talking about our voluntary work, we hope to encourage young people to form and establish an understanding of caring and sharing joy with others.
We can all learn, from an early age, to pay it forward and do something for nothing - and this will help a new generation to grow and flourish so that they may become kind benevolent and thoughtful adults.
Helping a future generation to embrace a sense of belonging, and the value of benevolence, is of enormous benefit to us all!
